In class, I have been reading about Jesus christ's life and looking for acts of courage. I then had thirty minutes to write about it.
I am writing about times in the bible when Jesus shows courage. He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life. (Muhammad Ali). Firstly, The easiest one to find where Jesus showed courage was when he died on the cross for us. I know that he shows courage here is because he's scared to die, but still does it for us. And this shows that he shows courage. because courage is doing something that you are scared of doing.
Secondly, Another one where he shows courage is in the storm. When Jesus and his disciples were on a boat, they came past a wicked storm. the disciples were freaking out. So Jesus woke up and said ´where is your faith´. Then Jesus rebuked the winds and the waves. In this verse, Jesus shows courage by having faith and trust.
Thirdly, When Jesus arrived at this village he saw a demon. The demon was trying to scare him but it did not work. So Jesus rebuked the demon and the demon came out of the body and ran away. In this one, Jesus showed courage by standing up and not being scared.
To sum up, Jesus is a good example of living courageously. Because when he's scared he still does it which shows a lot of courage.
